Main research interest
During my studies in bachelor’s and master’s degree I was interested in membrane biology and cAMP signalization in mammalian cells. Later, after the start of my Ph.D. studies, I have focused my interest on secondary metabolites of cyanobacteria with respect to their ecophysiology. In the scope of this broad topic I have special interest in siderophore production and their possible role in resource competition under iron limited conditions.
Scientific expertise
HPLC-HRMS/MS techniques for small molecules identification, compound purification, genome-mining, biosynthetic gene cluster identification and interpretation.
