Lucie Kovářová

Lucie (LK) graduated from the Faculty of Science of the University of South Bohemia with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Care, and in 2019 she completed her master's degree in Ecosystem Biology. In the same year, she started working as a research assistant in the Laboratory of Photosynthesis in Roman Sobotka's group. LK's expertise includes molecular biology methods such as DNA isolation, PCR and gene cloning, but also protein biochemistry methods such as protein separation by native and denaturing PAGE and Western blotting, as well as transformation and culture of cyanobacteria and isolation of thylakoid membranes. Among other things, she also runs the laboratory for the group of Roman Sobotka and Josef Komenda.
