Martina Jannová
Martina defended her Ph.D. thesis at the Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague (The influence of carbon nanostructures on human cell behavior and the importance of fetal bovine serum in cell adhesion). She has experience with various molecular and cellular methods mainly in the field of mammalian cell research (cell culture, virus isolation, viral infection, flow cytometry, protein and DNA electrophoresis, Western blot, qRT PCR, FISH, GMO preparation, Raman spectroscopy, confocal microscopy). She also worked at SOTIO® where she learned the methods of Good Manufacturing Practice in the development of personalized cancer immunotherapy.
In the Laboratory of Photosynthesis, Martina is responsible for the isolation and characterization of membrane complexes, optimization of measurement and data analysis methodologies on a new robotic unit, as well as confocal microscopy measurements and data processing.
