BSc, MSc projects
We are looking for a BSc or MSc student interested in biochemistry/molecular biology or, alternativelly, in electron microscopy of cyanobacteria. As a spectrum of projects is runnng currently in the lab, the BSc/MSc work can be 'designed' according to student's interest. We can offer a traning in genetic manipulation of cyanobacteria, in purification of (pigment)-protein complexes, analysis of protein interactions (2D gels/blots, mass-spectrometry), analysis of membrane-protein complexes, various chromatographic techniques (HPLC, FPLC) or electron and confocal microscopy. PhD projects
We are looking for a motivated PhD student interested in synthetic biology of cyanobacteria. Student will work on project focused on the modification of the model cyanobacterium Synechocystis 6803 for the production of membrane proteins for structural studies (Cryo-EM).
