Eva Prachová

EP graduated from the Faculty of Sciences of the Charles University in Prague in the field of Systematic Biology and Ecology in 1984, in the same year she passed a rigorous examination and received the title RNDr. She has been working at the Algatech Centre (formerly the Department of Autotrophic Microorganisms) since 2000. EP works for the groups of Josef Komenda and Roman Sobotka, and is mainly dedicated to technical support for the cultivation of experimental organisms and ensures supplies of consumables in the molecular laboratory shared by these groups. She also maintains a collection of frozen strains of cyanobacteria.
