Paulina Duhita Anindita ("Dita")

Dita first received a classical training in Veterinary Medicine in Indonesia. Dita´s academic pursuits then took her to Hokkaido University in Japan, where she cultivated a strong foundation in molecular biology and virology during her Ph.D. and a short fellowship. This was followed by enriching research fellowships at the University of South Bohemia in Česke Budějovice and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore where she specialized in recombinant protein production, protein biochemistry, protein crystallization, and the development of high-throughput antiviral screening assays. Besides conducting research, she also mentored junior lab members.

Upon joining the Laboratory of Photosynthesis at the Algatech Centre, she has been leveraging her knowledge in molecular biology and protein production-purification to investigate the regulation of cyanobacterial plasmid copy number. Alongside, she is providing support for the FPLC system operation at the Laboratory of Photosynthesis.
